Many of us do run busy lives, but it doesn’t mean we don’t want to look good whilst doing it! It could just be a case of finding the time sometimes, when we already have a million and one other errands to fulfil first. If you are on the go, like my sister who is leraning how to become a business analyst, these are great tips. Here are some amazingly quick tips to long lasting beauty!
BB Cream
BB cream is all the rage now, and there’s no wonder why. It promises to hide a multitude of sins with a small dollop, and some even say they make your skin look healthier in the long run! And just because it’s a fairly new concept, it doesn’t mean that the price has to be sky high. Just make sure you get one that suits your skin tone and whack it on in the morning where you’d normally be applying concealer, foundation, powder… It’ll cut that morning routine in half.
Elastics
Just got out of the shower but don’t have time to blow dry and style your hair? This part of your routine can be really tedious sometimes, so it’s good to know that with a few hair elastics, so can make beautiful, sexy waves with no effort at all. Just divide your hair into four sections – so down the middle at the back then those two section divided once more – then twist each section into a bun. Secure with a hair elastics then leave it to dry whilst doing other chores. When it’s dry, undo it and it’ll fall perfectly into waves with minimal effort!
Conditioner
Another shower related time saver can be to use your usual hair conditioner all over your body as well. It might sound strange, but it seems to work in the same way as body lotion, but the good news with conditioner is that you don’t have to wait around for it to be absorbed into your skin.
Your feet can be much harder to soften than the rest of your body (probably because you’re always on them!) so when you’re getting ready for bed, slather them with body lotion and pop a pair of socks over the top. Wear these all night and your feet will have chance to absorb all of that moisturizing goodness. In the morning, your feet will be super soft and smell delicious!
Vaseline is pretty much a multi use product and should be an essential on your dressing table. You might already use it as a lip balm, but did you know you can use it on your eyelids and eyelashes too? Applying a tiny amount to lids will give them a dewy finish, plus smoothing a drop through your lashes will give them volume, meaning there’s no need to use mascara!
